Well, OK, Feldman doesn’t confront all three of those things; they’re the subjects of a group of upcoming genre releases that DVD outfit Cinema Epoch gave us the scoop and the cover art on, though the LOST BOYS star does topline one of them.
TERROR INSIDE, streeting June 15, features Feldman (pictured above with Tanya Memme) as Allen, who arrives in a small Florida town to propose marriage to a waitress (Memme) he’s been wooing. Instead, he finds that the place has turned into a den of sinful and self-destructive behavior thanks to a mysterious substance unearthed in a nearby swamp, which soon attracts the attention of those who would turn it into a bio-weapon. Susie Sprague, who was married to Feldman at the time of production but has since filed for divorce, co-stars along with Joe Abby and Chris Cavallaro; Jozef Lenders scripted and directed. Those evil Amish—actually a family excommunicated from that group—are the villains of THE SEASON, written and directed by Adam Edward Brooks and coming June 29. AJ Bowen from THE SIGNAL and THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, Julianna Mason, Nya Kadenge and Douglas Tait star in this story of travelers who become trapped in a small Iowa town by the sect, who intend to use them as breeding stock; the movie has played Screamfest, Shriekfest, Shockerfest, Dark Carnival (where it won Best Cinematography) and other fests. Two chillers from Japan, both directed by Hisaaki Nagaoka, also street June 15. SLAUGHTER ISLAND, a.k.a. CURSED ISLAND, is about a group of youths sequentially slaughtered on the titular locale, while THE ROOMMATE centers on two women who share an apartment, and whose close friendship is threatened when one becomes possessed by a demonic spirit. Retail price is $19.98 for each of these. Some of these four discs will likely contain special features, though those haven’t been determined as of now.
