The sequel gets a brief, eerie, follow-up teaser.

As with plenty of contemporary horror trailers, THE LAST EXORCISM PART II takes full advantage of a pure, faceless innocent child singing a hymn/reciting a nursery rhyme/telling a story over some dark proceedings. Many of its characters promise Nell Sweetzer (a returning Ashley Bell) salvation, but something already lies within, and this dramatically shorter clip is dramatically more effective in getting me excited for the film.

In THE LAST EXORCISM PART II, Nell is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. Back in the relative safety of New Orleans, she realizes that she can't remember entire portions of the previous months, only that she is the last surviving member of her family. Just as Nell begins the difficult process of starting a new life, the evil force that once possessed her is back with other, unimaginably horrific plans that mean her last exorcism was just the beginning.

THE LAST EXORCISM PART II is out March 1, 2013. For more, keep an eye right here and on newsstands for exclusive talks with Bell, producer Eli Roth and director Ed Gass-Donnelly.
